Responsibility and purpose
The project is editorially led by Veronika Beliakova Voronov. We publish practical explanations to help people prepare documents, exams and procedural steps.
We do not replace public authorities, a qualified professional or the official information that applies to an individual case.
How we check information
We start with primary sources, including public bodies, official online offices and the BOE. Each guide links to relevant sources and shows a review date when its content has been checked.
National rules may sit alongside different instructions or availability at a particular Civil Registry, office or online service. We flag that distinction where it matters and recommend confirming local details before acting.
Languages and translations
Content is prepared in Spanish and adapted into English, Portuguese, Russian and French. We retain Spanish names for services and procedures — such as Cl@ve, Tasa 790 código 026 and Registro Civil — so readers can check the official source.
We review affected translations when an important instruction changes. Where a difference remains, the official Spanish source takes precedence.
Independence and related products
Nacionalidad.eu is an independent portal. It belongs to the same product family as CCSE App and DELE A2, tools for preparing for exams related to the process.
Links to CCSE App and DELE A2 lead to products related to us, not official public services. We disclose that relationship here so you can assess those recommendations.
Automation and corrections
Automation tools may help organise drafts, links or translations, but they do not replace checking the original source before procedural information is published or updated.
You can report a possible error with the guide link and relevant source. We review reports and correct confirmed errors without promising a response time.
